Our Mission Statement
We create an exceptional golf and social experience by fostering a welcoming environment that encourages friendships, supports families, appreciates each person and involves us in our community.

Our History
Shadow Hills Country Club's auspicious beginnings were as a recreational course, owned and operated by Bohemia Lumber Company, opening for its first rounds in 1963.

In 1986 three hundred forward-thinking members purchased the course from Bohemia, and the era of a "member owned Shadow Hills Country Club" began. In the 1990s, a major renovation to the course, including new irrigation, and a redesign of several greens and tee boxes, created a facility worthy of becoming a 10-year stop on the PGA's Nationwide Tour.

The course continued to grow in reputation for its year-round playability and challenging design, with several more additions and changes to the course over the next decade taking place.

In 2012, after extensive planning, Shadow Hills CC was able to open an expansive 24,000 sq. ft. clubhouse facility that finally gave SHCC a clubhouse, banquet room, lounge, pro-shop, club-care and fitness center that was worthy of the golf course that continued to be the hub of activity for the club. These improvements culminated in SHCC winning the "Facility of the Year" from the OGA in 2014.

Today, Shadow Hills, with the support of its membership, continues to improve and evolve as one of the premier facilities in the Northwest. Members While the benefits of being a private, member-owned club are many, Shadow Hills CC takes pride in knowing that we have earned a reputation for being welcoming, inclusive, and family-friendly. Our members know that our success comes from attracting members who feel welcome, and make Shadow Hills their "home away from home," while becoming a part of the SHCC community.

The stewardship of our course and clubhouse, as well as the surrounding land owned by the club, continues to provide benefits beyond the scope of an exceptional golf course. Becoming an Audubon Certified course in 2016, we have insured that members and staff will use "best practices" for safe management and maintenance, enhancing the environment and wildlife that are a part of our facility. Each improvement increases playability, sustainability, and the overall service to our members that make Shadow Hills unique. By limiting our golfing membership to just 475 members, we know that we can grow fiscally, provide the utmost of member services, while maintaining the sense friendship and camaraderie of a close and active community.
